20/20 Plans

(2 1/2 Hours)

Be the Architect of your Art Career, Create the plans that you will need to build your vision of success.

Can you imagine what would happen if an architect started to build without a plan? He wouldn’t be able to tell what materials would be required, when he would need things or how to set up his schedule. It would be a costly mess. In fact, his project might not ever be completed. This is true about your career in the arts too. With plans you will know exactly what you need to do, when you need to take each step and how much time, money and energy you will need allowing you to achieve your goals much faster and with less stress and frustration.

These Strategic Plans Are:

  • #1. Vision Statement
  • #2. Goal Setting
  • #3. Action Plan
  • #4. Financial Plan
  • #5. Marketing Plan
  • #6. Growth Plan
  • #7. Business Plan

I will explain each plan that is required to grow your art business and why it is important. We will then go over each component of these plans and the tools and information you will need to complete them. I will give you some questionaires to help you clarify what you want and some templates to use that will make the process easy and fun. We will even break up into working groups and get some of this done in class.
